Published 04/07/2020

Color matching is the process of adjusting a known colorant formulation to match a standard without regard to the customer’s requirements other than the color matches the target.

Color designing is the process that Americhem goes through with customers to select a set of colorants that will deliver a color match that will meet the customer’s desired requirements such as lightfastness, chemical resistance, food contact, superb processability, color consistency, etc.
