Committment to Sustainability
Controlled Polymers is on their way to the greenest compounds in the world! They strive for sustainability in everything they do. Read about our sustainability movement and environmental policy divided into four areas below.
Together we strive for the highest quality with minimal environmental impact.
Together we strive to reduce, reuse and recycle.
Together we strive for green excellence.
Together we strive to create sustainable solutions.
Controlled Polymers Location
Controlled Polymers develops customized solutions based on the custumers' needs and requirements. Flexible and adaptable production facilities provide customers with fast delivery times and enable Controlled Polymers to deliver from 25 kg to 25 tons.
Controlled Polymers' goal when producing is continuously to minimize the environmental impact of manufacturing. They do this by using renewable energy and reducing waste, water and electricity consumption.
Controlled Polymers Markets
Controlled Polymers delivers to a series of different industries that are outlined below. Controlled Polymers can be your preferred partner through dialogue, flexibility and client-specific solutions that live up to your requirements.
Flexible solutions in all types of polymers with documentation on the end-product and full material specification as an option.
Strong competencies in coloring, identical colors across various polymers, as well as laser marker optimization.
Custom-designed masterbatch solutions with color and additives, as well as black/white standards, to cover every need.
30 years of experience manufacturing products for the electronic industry makes Controlled Polymers a reliable partner.
Long time experience as a supplier to the machinery, construction, and other industrial industries.
Controlled Polymers Product Lines
All of our employees have a high and unique level of knowledge about polymers, pigments, and additives. At the same time, we offer a broad raw material range, from polyolefins to high tech polymers and extreme temperature polymers.
Controlled Polymers customer relations are based on individual advice and confidentiality with focus on useful solutions of high quality. They have no minimum volume requirements, and are willing to ship samples as small as ½ kg.
Cold Pound
As an alternative to traditional compounding, we can also offer our patented Cold Pound process in coloring a polymer.
By coating pigments and additives to each granule, you will benefit from the following advantages:
- Preserving the original properties in the base polymer
- Minimizing the risk for (additional) Black Specks
- In Hygroscobic and/or technical polymers, with tendency to changes in the base color tone (ex. different grades of yellowness), the Cold Pound process allows us, from lot to lot and within the same lot, to obtain the specific color, agreed upon with the customer, within the agreed tolerances
- Tighter color tolerances possible compared to traditional Compounds
Condensate
Condensate is a new generation of masterbatch with improved pigment and additive loading. Controlled Polymers' unique and patented process also improves pigment dispersion, which gives our clients the financial advantage of a lower dosage of masterbatch. Customers can still obtain the same color and color strength compared to a traditional masterbatch. Condensate also decreases the “run in” time during color change.
